Monday, November 2- Summarize important achievements of ancient Egypt - (pyramids, hieroglyphics, papyrus paper, calendar)

Students were given an assignment last Friday that will be due Friday, November 6th.  They were to imagine that they are a pharaoh back in ancient Egypt.  They were to design there own tomb.  This can be don on a piece of copy paper or construction paper.  The tomb is simply a room.  What items would they place in their tomb to take with them?  They were assked to select at least 5 items to draw,print, or cut out.  Along with the picture they should have an explanation as to why they selected that item.  Neatness, color and creativity will count.
